The Corky’s Grocery Challenge

The 4th of July is here and most of us will run out to the store on Friday or Saturday and buy a significant amount of food to have for a 4th of July picnic. Some people start preparing 2-3 days in advance while others go the day of. Either way if your having 20-40 people over for a picnic your going to spend the same money either way at the store. The only difference is the time you spend preparing and cleaning up. We call it the Corky’s challenge cause we actually challenge you to try our services instead of going to the store. Here is a list of the reasons to call Corky’s for this weekend.

#1. You will spend the same if not less money with our catering services than you would at the store. For $4-$8 per person you can have hundreds of options to choose from with Corky’s. Either way your going to spend between $200 and $400 at the store.

#2. We always like to ask, what is your time worth? Time is money and the more time you spend in the store, kitchen, in front of the grill or cleaning up after people the less time you have to enjoy. With our catering services we do everything for you. All our food comes hot and ready to serve with eating utensils, plates, serving trays and heating units. Why spend all the time preparing it yourself if its the same price and better quality, let the experts do it.

#3. For a small additional charge you can have a service person help you with your picnic. The grocery store does not offer this one, but we do. Why spend the day cleaning up tables, breaking down boxes to take to the garbage, going back and forth to the garage to refill the soda and water, or standing in front of a grill for hours in the hot July sun. We challenge you to try to enjoy your day doing all that yourself. The bottom line is you can’t enjoy yourself if you spend you day like that. let us help you make your 4th of July picnic a memorable one.

#4. No driving, no last minute ice runs, liquor runs or food shortages. Picnic Catering

We are so excited that summer is here. This week is supposed to get into the 80′s, and we hope everyone will start planning their summer and graduation catering. Corky’s Chicago Catering offers the best prices in town and we guarantee it. Bring in a offer from one of our competitors and we’ll beat it by 5%. We take being the largest catering company in Chicago very seriously, and we will not be under sold. In our new pricing for the year we are trying to roll back the clocks, most of our menus are actually priced similar to what we were charging back in 2007. I can’t imagine you’ll find another catering company in Chicago that will do that!

So, lets talk picnic catering. Here is a list of new and old items that will get you craving a picnic of your own.

1.) New Italian Quesadillas – Italian sausage with three cheese mix and a special blend of Italian spices, cooked to a perfect crisp.

2.) Hong Kong Chicken Wings – A new addition to our wing line up, these wings are baked in our special spicy Hunan sauce. Try them as a combo with our buffalo wings or Honey BBQ.
